Live Mice Races & Roulette!

If you are ready to network while hootin' and hollerin', just wait until the gates open for the KC NARI Mice Races & Roulette!

How does it work?

Races: There are 6 races with a championship 7th race that pits the previous winners head-to-head for a GRAND Champion Winner.  Yes, there are 36 live mice that will race on a 10-foot-long track that stands upright on a table for all to see.  Each track is individually lit so everyone can view the action.

Roulette: There is a 42" wheel which looks exactly like a roulette wheel with spokes around the perimeter of the wheel that lies flat on a table.  When all 38 numbers have been sold, a mouse is placed in the center of the wheel.  When all is ready, they give the wheel a slight spin and the mouse freely roams the wheel and will eventually go through 2 of the spokes.  Whatever number that corresponds to that is the winner of that round.  There will be at most 3 roulette rounds during the evening that are played between some of the races.

As with all current NARI events, masks are encouraged but optional.  It’s your choice.

Sponsorship available:

• Mouse (36 2 available): member rate $50, non-member rate $60, you get to name your mouse, mouse’s name and sponsor’s name in printed program, and 1 entry into event.  Mouse’s Name due by...Feb 21.  (We recommends naming them after a person/company/cute fun names like “Secretari-Rat” and “Rat-tat-too-e!”, people love to bet on, and cheer for, their “own” mouse!)
• Race (6 1 available): member rate $150, non-member rate $160, you get your logo on the race slide show presentation for the race you sponsor and 2 entries into event.  (First in gets the 1^st race, 2^nd in get 2^nd race, etc.)
• Champion Race (Title-0 available) member only $300, you get your name or logo featured on the front of each printed program, race slide show presentation, and 2 entries into the event.
• Mouse Roulette (0 available): member only $300, you get signage with logo at roulette table and 2 entries into the event.
