Field Training: Collaborative Skills – Leading Without A Title 2024

Event Sponsors

KR-HR and Nucleus Learning

Field Training: Collaborative Skills – Leading Without A Title sponsored by KR-HR and Nucleus Learning. Attendees will receive 1.5 CEU's and a certificate of completion.
Class will be taught by Karen Hughey.

This field training includes:

  1. A “Putting it Into Action” post-training activity for participants to complete and use for discussion with #2.
  2. A Manager’s post-training coaching guide to increase the transfer of learning effectiveness that results in behavior and performance enhancements.

"Leading Without A Title" is a concept that suggests that leadership is not defined by one's official job title or position within an organization. Instead, it emphasizes that anyone, regardless of their role or status, has the potential to exhibit leadership qualities and make a positive impact in their workplace.

The idea behind 'Leading Without A Title' is that leadership is not limited to those in managerial or executive positions. It encourages individuals at all levels of an organization to take ownership of their work, demonstrate leadership qualities, and contribute to the success and growth of the organization. This can include:
  1. Taking initiative: Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement or growth and taking action to address them.
  2. Inspiring and motivating others: Encouraging and supporting colleagues to perform at their best and achieve their goals.
  3. Problem-solving: Tackling challenges and finding solutions, even if they fall outside one's specific job description.
  4. Leading by example: Demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic that others can emulate.
  5. Building positive relationships: Fostering collaboration and teamwork, regardless of one's position.
  6. Continuous learning: Seeking to improve one's skills and knowledge, and sharing that knowledge with others.

The goal of a workshop on this topic is to help participants understand that they have the ability to influence and lead, regardless of their title, and to provide them with practical approaches to do so. By embracing the idea of leading without a title, individuals can contribute to a positive and productive work environment and enhance their own professional development and job success.
