We’re a growing remodeling general contractor and cabinet-building company working primarily in Johnson County—and we’re offering a paid, competency-based apprenticeship that teaches more than just job-site skills. It builds confident, skilled professionals with a pathway to advancement.
What You’ll Do:
As a Carpenter – Remodeling Specialist Apprentice, you'll assist in a wide range of construction and remodeling tasks. Under the guidance of skilled journeymen, you'll learn to:
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, and trim work
- Measure, cut, and install materials like wood, tile, laminate, and drywall
- Assist with basic plumbing and electrical installs (e.g., faucets, lights, outlets)
- Interpret blueprints and execute projects to exact specifications
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Communicate effectively with team members, project leads, and clients

What You Bring:
- Willingness to learn and grow every day
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and work in varied physical environments
- Interest in construction, remodeling, or a skilled trade
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus—but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

- Demolition and site prep
- Carpentry and structural framing
- Painting, flooring, and finishing
- Basic plumbing and electrical
- Blueprint reading and project coordination
- Cabinet installation and build techniques
- Safety standards, codes, and quality control

We are committed to a safe jobsite. All apprentices will participate in safety training and use proper PPE, including eye protection, gloves, ear protection, and safety shoes.
